Our client, the Joseph M. Smith Community Health Center in Boston’s Allston-Brighton neighborhood, has secured an $8 million New Markets Tax Credit that will help finance its new health center.

BIDMC has received Boston Redevelopment Authority approval to proceed with the construction of the Bowdoin Street Community Health Center Expansion Project.  Isgenuity has provided the planning and design services for this project.

East Boston Neighborhood Health Center, the 48,000 SF flagship health facility at 20 Maverick Square, designed by Isgenuity, was awarded LEED Gold and was named the Jack Craddock Building, after one of the pioneers of the Community Health Center movement.

Joslin Diabetes Center Groundbreaking The new Translational Center for the Cure of Diabetes hosted a groundbreaking ceremony to much fanfare including a visit from Governor Deval Patrick.  The new center will provide much-needed expansion space for clinical research.

Lynn Community Health Center opened its doors to it's expanded clinics and radiology services.  This project is funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act that aims to improve the quality of community health centers.

Dena Zyroff, AIA joins MBA
Dena Zyroff, AIA is an experienced architect with significant previous experience in laboratory design and campus planning. Prior to joining MBA, Dena was an architect with Payette and then sole practitioner based in Sharon, MA. She received her BA from Columbia University and her M. Arch. from Harvard Graduate School of Design.

MBA Selected to Design Fegan Elevator Tower

Children’s Hospital Boston has awarded Martin Batt Architects with the Fegan Elevator Tower Addition and Outpatient Lobby projects. The tower, an eleven-story building, and the outpatient lobby will change the public face of Children’s Hospital. The tower will house four elevator bays, which will bridge the hospital’s inpatient and outpatient buildings. Meanwhile, the lobby will provide a new entrance for all outpatient services.

New Peabody Project Awarded to MBA

Martin Batt Architects has been commissioned to plan and program 15,000 NSF for Children’s Hospital Peabody Building Expansion. The project includes a full complement of outpatient services including two operating rooms and radiology services.
